Region Gallery

On this page I firstly showcase a gallery of our beautiful region Languedoc-Roussillon with its many attractions and villages. Secondly, a Pinterest board of the village of Quarante with its facilities and attractions. Thirdly, how to contact us.

Quarante, one of the many pretty villages (as demonstrated in the gallery) and attractions of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, is situated on a hill surrounded by vineyards. This is the largest wine-producing region in the world at 740,300 acres. Therefore most of the population in the area are occupied with wine making. Quarante has wonderful views south to the Pyrenees and north to the ‘Montagne Noire’. Quarante is 20 mins by car to Beziers, Narbonne and St Chinian. The Canal du Midi is a short walk or bicycle ride away. The Romans extensively developed the region and so their legacy may be seen everywhere. The ‘Via Domitia’ being just one example.
